ADS ON DISK

Requirements: Electronic files can be accepted in both Mac and PC format.

Acceptable media include files on 3.5” disk or CD.

Materials supplied on disk should contain:

Actual ad files, all art/logos/photos that are used in ad, all Adobe fonts used in the document (only Adobe fonts are accepted). Include both screen and printer fonts (.pfb and .pfm).

Supply a service bureau or collect for output report listing the contents of the disk supplied.

All materials require an appropriate color or B/W proof containing registration and crop marks. Color laser separations (5 total for 4-color) are acceptable as a substitute when a color proof cannot be supplied. Color proof supplied will go to press.

Specs for page set-ups:

Quark XPress files only.

Files must be set up at 100% of the correct size with all the graphics already in place.

Any rotation of artwork should only be done in original art program, not Quark.

Specs for graphics:

All Photoshop files should be saved as Tiff files with DPI no less than 266 at 100%.

For 4-color files, please make certain that CMYK mode is applied.

It is not preferred, but EPS files can also be accepted.

Graphic files can be accepted in a format that allows the graphic to be opened through Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
